LA RAZA UNIDA PARTY
Our Mission and Legacy
Founded in 1970 in Crystal City, Texas, the Partido Nacional emerged from a rich tapestry of Chicano resistance and activism. This movement, deeply rooted in the struggles against social, economic, and political injustices, sought to forge a distinct Chicano identity and fight for the rights of Mexican-Americans.
El Partido Nacional de La Raza Unida
El Partido Nacional de La Raza Unida seeks a world that is not dominated by wealthy individuals, and political and corporate oligarchies that engage in capitalist exploitation. And, those who further empower themselves with technological innovations to increase their domination, subjugation and exploitation of more and more people. El Partido seeks a world where no person, government or country can oppress and enslave another person, government or country, and where peace, security, equality, opportunity and harmony prevail. Our obstacles are colonization, inequality, classism, racism, sexism and the current political maze that covertly energizes these elements.
